London, April 2006. Following an urgent request for help from one of the Delegation’s longstanding adopted charities, The Passage Homeless Centre, three up-to-date computers and six office chairs were donated to the Centre in the name of the British and Irish Delegation.
In a letter to newly appointed Delegate Lord Brennan of Bibury, Sister Ellen Flynn, Director of the Centre said “I am writing to thank you as Delegate for the donations of computers and chairs which your predecessor Mr Anthony Bailey, and now Delegate for Inter-Religious Relations relations, personally donated to us last week.
“Homes were found very quickly for the chairs and the computers are a very welcome and vital addition to our equipment needs. Please pass on our thanks to Mr Bailey for his and the Order’s continued kindness and support of our work”. Sister Ellen said.
