London, July 2014. As the world commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the outbreak of war in 1914, a Delegation dinner hosted by HE Mr Anthony Bailey, Delegate for Great Britain and Ireland will take place at Armourers’ Hall, 81 Coleman Street, London, EC2R 5BJ on Tuesday 25 November 2014 at 7-10.30pm. Our new Grand Chancellor, HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies and our Delegation Prior, His Eminence Cormac Cardinal Murphy-O’Connor will also honour us with their presence.
The dress code will be black tie or national dress with decorations. Tickets are available at £125 per person and include a small donation to our Delegation charities. Places will be issued on a first come first served basis and please note that space at the Hall is limited to 80 places. The booking form can be accessed by clicking here.
A keynote address will be made by Delegation Member Sir Gavyn Arthur on the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary and his wife Duchess Sophie von Hohenberg in Sarajevo a century ago. Both the Habsburgs and Hohenbergs families are longstanding members of the Constantinian Order and Sir Gavyn will no doubt offer a fascinating insight into the terrible events which ultimately lead to the outbreak of World War One.
