Rome – March 2002. During the meeting, His Royal Highness The Duke of Calabria awarded Nobel Prize winners Prof Renato Dulbecco and Prof Sydney Winawer of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York with the Constantinian Prize and Gold Benemerenti medals. A Constantinian scholarship was granted to Lucia Santuari, M.D., for her research in the Oncology Department of the University of Rome (La Sapienza).
