His Royal Highness The Duke of Calabria promotes Portuguese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia within the Constantinian Order - Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George

Riyadh – February 2001. His Excellency Senhor Jorge da Silva Preto, Portuguese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was promoted within the Sacred Military Constantinian Order to the rank of Knight Commander. Ambassador da Silva Preto first joined the Order in 1990.

Constantinian Order

The Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George and the Royal Order of Francis (Francesco) I are ancient and internationally recognised dynastic Orders of Knighthood. The Constantinian Order is actively involved in the defence and promotion of the Roman Catholic religion, and together with the multi-faith Royal Order of Francis I, undertakes spiritual, humanitarian, hospitaller and charitable projects and initiatives across Great Britain and its dependent territories, Ireland and the world.
