General Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank and Norman Gooding join Council of the British and Irish Delegation - Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George

London – October 2004. The Chancery is pleased to announce that former Chief of the British Defence Staff, General the Right Honourable Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank, GCB, LVO, OBE, KM, KCJCO, and the General Secretary of the Orders and Medals Society, Mr Norman Gooding, OStJ, KFO, have joined the Council of the British and Irish Delegation.

Constantinian Order

The Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George and the Royal Order of Francis (Francesco) I are ancient and internationally recognised dynastic Orders of Knighthood. The Constantinian Order is actively involved in the defence and promotion of the Roman Catholic religion, and together with the multi-faith Royal Order of Francis I, undertakes spiritual, humanitarian, hospitaller and charitable projects and initiatives across Great Britain and its dependent territories, Ireland and the world.
