Field Marshal Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank appointed as Constantinian Order Vice-Delegate of Scotland - Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George

Edinburgh, January 2013. The Chancery is pleased to announce the appointment of Field Marshal The Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank as Vice-Delegate of Scotland of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George within the Delegation of Great Britain and Ireland. Lord Guthrie has been appointed to the Vice Delegate’s post for the period 2013-2016. Lord Guthrie previously served on the Council of the Delegation during 2010-2013.

Constantinian Order

The Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George and the Royal Order of Francis (Francesco) I are ancient and internationally recognised dynastic Orders of Knighthood. The Constantinian Order is actively involved in the defence and promotion of the Roman Catholic religion, and together with the multi-faith Royal Order of Francis I, undertakes spiritual, humanitarian, hospitaller and charitable projects and initiatives across Great Britain and its dependent territories, Ireland and the world.
