London, November 2012. The Chancery regrets to announce the death of 5th Lord (Charles) Denman, CBE, MC, and a Knight Commander of the Royal Order of Francis I.
Lord Denman was first invested into the Order in 2002 and was an active member and participant in many Order events. Lord Denman was a prominent war hero, businessman and philanthropist and held senior positions in prominent companies, think tanks and government agencies and dedicated his life to furthering British interests abroad.
