London – January 2020. The Delegation is delighted to note of the appointment in the New Year’s Honours List of delegation medallist, Dr Charles Tannock as a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE).
The award granted by HM The Queen was made in recognition of Dr Tannock’s ‘political service to international relations and human rights’. Dr Tannock served for 20 years as Conservative MEP for London between 1999 and 2019.
