Bucharest, January 2015. On the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of HRH Crown Princess Margareta of Romania’s arrival in Romania, the Delegate HE Anthony Bailey and HSH Princess Marie-Therese von Hohenberg, Mrs Bailey attended a weekend of celebrations held in Bucharest between 16-19 January 2015. The invitation was issued by HRH Crown Princess Margareta of Romania and her husband HRH Prince Radu. The Crown Princess is the eldest daughter and heir of the throne to His Majesty King Michael I of Romania.
The Delegate attended a meeting with The Princess Margareta of Romania Foundation at Elisabeta Palace, Bucharest on 17 January 2015.
The Princess Margareta of Romania Foundation is a non-profit organisation, which supports the improvement of the living conditions of children, young people, families and the elderly and contribute to the institutional development of NGOs and institutions working with children and seniors.
The Delegate attended a Reception with Prince Nicholas and Princesses Sophie and Maria in the beautiful Elisabeth Palace and a Banquet on the occasion hosted by Crown Princess Margarita and Prince Radu of Romania.
Anthony also attended a Royal Concert in the magnificent setting of the Athenaeum in Bucharest during which Crown Princess Margarita addressed the audience which included the country’s Prime Minister HE Victor Ponta. The Foreign Minister of the Romanian Orthodox Church Archbishop Nifon was also present.

HRH Prince Elena of Romania is a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Order of Francis I and her husband HE Mr Alexander Nixon is a Knight Commander with Star of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George.
