London, October 2013. The Constantinian Order is currently supporting the project ‘Side by Side’ under the supervision of The Council of Christians and Jews (CCJ). It is a project aiming to directly assist Chaplains in Higher Education with their challenges of campus interfaith and other pastoral issues. The CCJ have completed surveys and pilot schemes which helped to interface and communicate with chaplains and students.
The financial support by the Constantinian Order helped pay for the Programme Manager of the project. The Constantinian Order is a longstanding supporter of the work of CCJ. The British and Irish Delegation also donated on the occasion of the 70th anniversary celebrations £20,000 to the work of the Council for Christians and Jews which has been earmarked specifically for projects aimed at promoting greater Catholic-Jewish understanding.
