Appointment of a New Delegate and Vice Delegate

On 19 September 2026, on the solemnity of Saint Januarius, Patron of the Royal House of Bourbon Two Sicilies and of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, Head of the Royal House and Grand Master of the Order, accepted the resignations of H.E. Don Paolo Costantino Borghese, Prince of Nettuno, and The Rt Hon Lord Murphy of Torfaen from their respective offices of Delegate and Vice Delegate pro tempore of the Delegation for Great Britain and Ireland.
His Royal Highness has at the same time appointed Lord Edward Windsor, Baron Downpatrick, Knight Commander of Justice, as the new Delegate for Great Britain and Ireland, and Mr Paul Francis O’Grady, Knight Officer of Merit, as the new Vice Delegate for Great Britain.
In renewing its deepest gratitude to H.E. Prince Borghese and The Rt Hon Lord Murphy of Torfaen for their service, the Delegation for Great Britain and Ireland looks forward, with these new appointments, to a bright new and constructive future.
