Ecclesiastical Counsellor to the Royal House appointed - Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George

Rome, November 2010. The Grand Magistry has announced that His Eminence Albert, Cardinal Vanhoye, SJ, has been appointed Ecclesiastical Counsellor to the Royal House and Grand Prior Emeritus. We wish His Eminence well in his new role.

Constantinian Order

The Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George and the Royal Order of Francis (Francesco) I are ancient and internationally recognised dynastic Orders of Knighthood. The Constantinian Order is actively involved in the defence and promotion of the Roman Catholic religion, and together with the multi-faith Royal Order of Francis I, undertakes spiritual, humanitarian, hospitaller and charitable projects and initiatives across Great Britain and its dependent territories, Ireland and the world.
