Sana’a – March 2004. The Duke and Duchess of Calabria and accompanying delegation visited the historic city of Sana’a and a number of religious sites including the main library featuring an exhibition of religious literature which included a collection of ancient Islamic manuscripts and Korans.
The delegation later called on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Yemen, His Excellency Abdul-Qader Bajammal at the Prime Minister’s Office. The Chairman of the Consultative Council alsoreceived the delegation. During both meetings discussions were held as to activities which the Constantinian Order could undertake in Yemen in the field of interfaith dialogue and charitable and humanitarian support.
