London, 25 April 2014. By decree of the Order’s Grand Master, HRH The Duke of Castro, the Sub-Prior of the British and Irish Delegation, His Grace The Most Reverend George Stack, Archbishop of Cardiff, assisted by the Order’s Delegate in Great Britain and Ireland HE Mr Anthony Bailey, presided over the annual investiture ceremony of new and promoted knights, dames and medallists within the British and Irish Delegation.
The following were invested into the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George:
– Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace: The Reverend Canon Peter Newby (GB)
– Knight Commander of Merit: Mr Patrick Downes (IRE)
– Knight of Merit with Star: Judge Patrick Durcan, KCSS, (IRE)
– Knight of Merit: Mr John Cowdall (GB), Mr Kevin Hart (GB)
– Silver Benemerenti Medal: Mr Peter Bertoncini (GB)
The following were promoted within the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George:
– Knight Commander of Justice: Prince Don Cristoforo Rocco di Torrepadula (GB)
– Knight Commander of Merit: Mr Gerard Lawler (IRE), Dr Martin Vorderwülbecke (GB)
– Knight of Merit with Star: Mr John Turley (IRE)
The following were decreed to the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George and will be invested at a later date:
